Professor Ho's research interests are at the intersection of information theory, networking, and machine learning. She is particularly interested in the theoretical and practical implications of generalizing network behavior from routing/forwarding to network coding. Her previous and ongoing work considers routing, compression, reliability, coordination, and security in distributed network operation.
